Flex Meal Plan

Starting as of September 2021, the UBC Okanagan Food Services will be changing the Meal Plan and it will have two distinct groups – All Access Meal Plan and the Flex Meal Plan.

All Access Meal Plan is mandatory for all students in the following residence buildings:

• Cassiar
• Nicola
• Purcell
• Kalamalka
• Valhalla
• Skeena
• Similkameen Place
• Nechako

All Access Meal Plan can only be used within the new Nechako’s Residence Dining Hall.

Flex Meal Plan can be used at all on-campus food service locations as well as at participating off-campus partner locations.

Any money that returning students have remaining in their Carryover plan from previous years, can still be used at all food service locations on-campus, as well as off-campus partners.

Already included in the initial amount of the All Access Meal Plan is a fixed portion of $300.56 Flex Plan dollars, which can be used at all on-campus locations as well as off-campus partners.

If you need additional funds added to your Flex Plan, you can use your CWL login on the Student Housing and Hospitality Services website, then navigate to the Food Services tab.

The Students’ Union food service locations in the UNC building will only be able to accept the Flex Plan as well as the standard payment options – debit/credit card and cash.
