The BSA aims to create an inclusive and empowering space where self-identifying black students can express themselves comfortably. It aims to provide a safe haven for embracing culture, particularly for those who haven’t had the chance. Recognizing that black culture is not a monolith, the association seeks to showcase the various dimensions of our shared experience. It offers an opportunity for those from the diaspora to explore and connect with different aspects of their culture. Through open dialogue, the association seeks to broaden its understanding of global perspectives on blackness and celebrate the complexity of collective heritage.
