The Psychology Course Union (PCU) is a team of students dedicated to providing resources and hosting events for the psychology student body. We make all of this happen with the help of our wonderful teams:
- Events: Our events team plans and hosts events ranging from educational workshops to social self-care activities. We hold at least one per month!
- Review: Our review team is dedicated to providing midterm and final exam review sessions to students of high demand psychology courses (111, 121, 270, 271).
- Tutoring: Our tutoring team offers free tutoring services to psychology students across a variety of courses ranging from 100-300 level!
- Social Media: Finally, our social media team is the go-to for updates about all things psychology! They make it easy to stay in the loop about upcoming events, mental health tips, and more!
Members of the PCU also collaborate every year to host the Okanagan Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference (OPURC). This conference includes oral and poster presentations by your UBCO psychology community! Not only does OPURC showcase the fascinating research being conducted at the university, it also includes an awards night and dinner!
Want to be a PCU member? It’s easy! Any student with psychology as their major or minor is automatically a PCU member… Welcome to the course union!
